On Sunday, April 28th, freshman Hannah Gadpaille competed
in the 2019 CHSAA (Catholic High School Athletic Association)
Girls Freshman and Sophomore Intersectional
Championship at Icahn Stadium. The weather was cold,
which made it hard for athletes to get a proper warm up for
their events. The competition was good, with the best track
and fi eld CHSAA Freshman & Sophomore student athletes
from throughout New York Catholic High Schools. Despite
the chilly weather, freshman Hannah Gadpaille was able to
win gold medals in the 100- and 200-meter races.
Then, on Wednesday, May 15th, at the 2019 Girls CHSAA
Sectional Championship with the Best Track & Field
CHSAA athletes from throughout New York City were in

took second in the 200 meters race. As a freshman to win
Gold and Silver medals among seniors, juniors, sophomore

Hannah!
