The Sparkling Heart of Fordham is still beating this holiday season. Hosted by the Fordham Road Business Improvement District, the 14th annual Sparkling Heart of Fordham Celebration
and Christmas Tree Lighting welcomed over 4,000 people to commemorate the holidays on Friday, December 7. The festive event featured its trademark Christmas tree
lighting, a visit from Santa Claus, live music, prizes, raffl es and gifts for 600 children. (above left) Wilma Alonso, FRBID executive director, welcomed Jolly Old Saint Nick to Fordham.
