The Bronx County American Legion celebrated its Christmas Party on Saturday, December 15 at the Samuel H. Young American Legion Post 620.

donated toys to be distributed to less fortunate
children residing in the south Bronx’s
homeless shelters on Saturday, December
15. The over 250 toys were donated by St.
Raymond students, faculty, staff and administration
and benefi ted the 161st Street
Merchants Association.

St. Raymond Elementary School students gave a crowd pleasing performance at their school’s annual Blessing of the Season Show on Wednesday, December 19. Pre-K 3 and UPK East and
West rang in the holiday season by sing ‘Suzie Snowfl ake,’ ‘Jingle Bells,’ ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,’ ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ and ‘Follow that Star.’
Kindergarten students sang the Hawaiian Christmas song ‘Mele Kalikimaka.’
