IMMIGRANTS IN THE BRONX OPENING RECEPTION AT LONGWOOD ART GALLERY
The Longwood Art Gallery hosted an opening reception for ‘Foreign/Familiar: Immigrants in the Bronx’ exhibit on Wednesday, January 9. Foreign/Familiar explores displacement and
belonging through the work of seven Bronx visual and media artists. Their works are infl uenced, inspired, respond to, or revolve around issues of voluntary and involuntary exile, migration,
diaspora and statelessness.
