Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick to stand in solidarity with the people of Ecuador
and Japan, nations which both suffered mass casualties as a result of
devastating earthquakes.

149th annual Kings County Memorial Day Parade in Bay Ridge, including its
grand marshal Honorable Jerome H. Cohen, a retired New York State Supreme
Court justice and a World War II veteran.

To warn community residents about a suspect wanted for an attempted rape

movie “Purple Rain” at Fort Greene Park in celebration of the life of legendary

in Canarsie; the vehicle, acquired through an allocation of Borough President Adams’ capital budget, is
designed to salt and plow, as well as clear snow and ice, from smaller tertiary streets in Flatbush, Kensington,
and Midwood.

Borough President Adams checked out a robot during
a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and
Mathematics (STEAM) Fair for middle school girls
at MCU Park in Coney Island, where more than 3,000
young women had an opportunity to showcase their
projects.
