CORD MEYER DEVELOPMENT
During the 20th century, Cord Meyer Development has been a key player in the development
of Queens. Th roughout the years, Cord Meyer has developed properties such as the
Bay Terrace Shopping Center, the Forester Apartments, the Seminole Apartments and more.
During the 1980s, the company saw the shift in the real estate market toward apartment
ownership and started to convert their apartment building into co-ops. Th e company’s recent
projects include the renovation and renewal of several retail and mixed-use properties,
including the former site of the Knickerbocker Yacht Club, the Port Washington Hotel and
the Forest Hills Aston Building.
