Queens Restaurant Week is underway
and what better way to celebrate than
by exploring some of the more exotic
cuisine from the most diverse borough
in the city? From Moroccan and Mediterranean
to Thai and Halal, our list will
guide you on an exotic culinary journey
through the streets of Queens.

eatery. The Asian
and Indian fusion
can be tasted in
dishes like the
tempura shrimp,
vegetable samosas

Tandoori. Their chicken tikka puri is served “British style”
with grilled chicken tikka, bread and chef’s special sauce.
Curious diners should sample Vintage Curry’s flavorful
bounty in their Mix Grill, an eclectic platter of shrimp,
lamb chop, chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, reshmee
kebab and fish tandoori.

Treat your taste buds to a delightful
mélange of flavors at this eclectic upscale
eatery. The cuisine at Pa-Nash is
inspired by Mediterranean, Caribbean

Moroccan vegan stew is a warm, aromatic

peppers, chickpeas, eggplant, pumpkin
and Moroccan spices. Pa-Nash’s

corner restaurant. Beija Flor’s menu

influences. Classic Spanish dishes include the arroz con pollo with chicken, rice and sausages, as well as the

This cozy Elmhurst gem boasts an extensive menu of
traditional and contemporary Thai offerings, including
the rice congee, Thai curry and nutty pad Thai.
Nusara’s sweetly named “Shrimp Mermaids” features
whole shrimp wrapped in a wonton blanket and served
with their special sweet plum sauce. Their Waterfall
Salad includes beef or pork served over red onions,
scallions, chili and mint in zesty lime juice vinaigrette.
The Nusara’s Delight is a bold mix of ground chicken
and fried tofu topped with shrimp in a fresh ginger
sauce. Nusara’s entrees pair well with a side of mango
sticky rice or a fried egg.
