BY AIDAN GRAHAM
It was a Kings salute to this beloved
saint!
Local luminaries fl ocked
to the Canarsie law offi ces of
Brooklyn Democratic Party
Boss Frank Seddio on March
22 to celebrate the Catholic
feast day of St. Joseph’s Day,
which honors the earthly father
of Jesus.
Seddio and his wife Joyce
Becker-Seddio hosted a crowd
of lawyers, judges, and pols at
the 11th-annual get-together,
which he called a smashing
success.
“It’s a great event, and we
had a great turn out. Around
500 people came this year,”
Seddio said.
Guests mixed and mingled
inside the host’s Flatlands
Avenue offi ces before chowing
down on traditional Italian
dishes, including Seddio’s
specialty, pasta con sarde — a
savory dish featuring noodles
and anchovies.
Legal eagles with the Columbian
Lawyers Association
and the Catholic Lawyers
Guild of Kings County
co-sponsored the festivities,
which took place three days
after the offi cial March 19
feast day.
