Cut and dry
Cops arrested a 29-year-old man
who they say robbed an 18-year-old
on Oceanview Avenue on April 18.
The perp and the victim were
arguing near Ocean Parkway at 10
p.m. when the suspect pulled out a
knife and demanded money, cops
said.
Police canvassed the area, found
the perp, and arrested him later
that day.
Hammer time
Two brutes assaulted a man with
a hammer on W. 15th Street on April
15.
The victim was walking home
between Neptune and Mermaid avenues
at around 12:40 a.m. when
the two perps approached him and
began punching and kicking him,
police reported. One of the two men
then took out a hammer and hit the
victim in the head, before fl eeing toward
Shore Parkway, cops said.
The victim was taken to Coney
Island Hospital for treatment of his
injuries, according to authorities.
Social scammer
A fraud stole $1,884 from a W.
Eighth Street man on April 16.
The scammer called the victim,
posing as a Social Security agent,
and told the victim he needed to pay
up or he would be arrested. The victim,
who lives between Surf Avenue
and Sheepshead Bay Road, sent the
money at 1 p.m., using an online currency
system, according to cops.
Slasher
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
stabbing his friend on W. 32nd
Street on April 20.
The two men were in a verbal argument
in the lobby of their apartment
building between Neptune
and Mermaid avenues at around
5:30 p.m. when the suspect slashed
the victim on the forearm with a
small knife, according to police.
Cop arrived on the scene within
an hour, arrested the perp, and
transported the victim to Lutheran
Hospital, authorities said.

Two thieves broke into a W. 13th
Street hotel and stole several televisions
on April 14.
The weasels snuck into the hotel
between Avenue P and Shore Parkway
through the back window at 11
p.m., before grabbing the electronics
and sneaking off, cops said.
Snatch and grab
A purse-snatcher grabbed a
woman’s bag on Brighton Beach Avenue
on April 15.
The woman was between Brighton
Fifth and Brighton Sixth streets
at approximately 1 p.m. when the
perp grabbed the bag, which contained
a phone and cash, and made
off, cops said.
Electric scam
A swindler stole $788 from a 28th
Avenue woman on April 16.
The perp called the victim, posing
as an electric utility company
employee, and told her they would
shut her power off if she did not
pay. The victim, who lives between
Cropsey and Harway avenues, sent
the money, using gift cards, at approximately
11:30 a.m., according to
cops.
Extortion
A charlatan attempted to blackmail
a W. Sixth Street man on April
16.
The victim received an email at
his new account from his old email
account at approximately 8 a.m. containing
a naked photo of himself and
his wife, with a demand for $350, or
the con would post the photo on the
internet, according to cops.

Kid-napper
Cops cuffed an 18-year-old man
for allegedly robbing a 12-year-old
on E. 16th Street on April 15.
The suspect, along with three
others, approached the child between
Quentin Road and Avenue R,
at approximately 5 p.m., before grabbing
his wallet and headphones,
cops said.
Cops tracked down the teen and
arrested him on April 22. The three
other baddies, who surrounded the
child during the robbery, have not
yet been found, according to police
Schoolhouse rocked
Police arrested a 16-year-old who
they say assaulted a classmate and
stole a backpack at a Bedford Avenue
school on April 16.
The teen punched the victim in
the face while in the school between
Avenue P and Quentin Road, causing
substantial bruising, before
grabbing the bag and running off at
approximately 11:30 a.m., according
to cops.
Police came to the school, and arrested

the suspect later that day.
Delivery robber
Two pilferers robbed a delivery
driver on E. 24th Street on April 18.
The victim was making a delivery
between Avenues Y and Z at approximately
10:10 a.m., when one of
the baddies punched him in the face
while the other held him down. The
two men then took $200 from the
victim’s pocket, before fl eeing toward
Avenue X, said cops.
Madison mad man
Cops arrested a suspect who they
say broke into an Avenue P apartment
on April 19.
The perp knocked on the door
of the apartment, on the corner of
E. Fifth Street, at approximately
1:30 a.m., cops said. When the victim
opened the door, the suspect
punched him in the face, entered
the home, and stole $1,570 worth of
property, said authorities.
Cops arrested the 48-year-old the
following morning, according to the

Street fi ght
A nogoodnik threatened two men
with a knife before trying to steal
one man’s phone and punching the
other in the face on Bath Avenue on
April 18.
The incident occurred at Bay
Parkway around 11:10 p.m., according
to the report, which added
that the baddie walked up to the
duo and said “suck my d---” before
punching one of the victims
in the face, causing swelling and a
bloody nose.
The perp then pulled out a knife
and demanded one of the men’s
phones before he attempted to steal
it, cops said. The baddie fl ed down
Bath Avenue towards Bay 31st
Street, according to police.
Late-night thief
A thief stole a vacuum and leaf
blower from a 20th Avenue shed on
April 15.
The theft occurred at the property
between 86th Street and Benson
Avenue at around 3 a.m., police
said.
Car break-in
A pilferer stole a woman’s wallet,
containing her debit card and three
credit cards, from her car parked
off of Shore Parkway on April 15.
The theft occurred in a parking
lot between 24th Avenue and Bay
38th Street at some point around 4
p.m., according to the report.
Cash grab
Two miscreants threatened a
man and stole $16 and his credit and
debit cards on 17th Avenue on April
17.
The incident occurred at New
Utrecht Avenue at around 2 a.m., according
to the report, which added
that the duo approached the man
and one told the other to “hit him
with the gun” before grabbing the
goods from his pockets and book
bag.
Biked into the night
A pair of punks stole a man’s
white 2018 Yamaha motorcycle from
its W. Eighth Street parking spot on
April 17.
The incident — which police
claimed was captured on camera
— occurred between Avenue P and
Quentin Road at around 3:30 a.m.,
according to the report. The perps
fl ed on foot down W. Eighth Street
towards Quentin Road, police said.

Bad blow
Cops busted a man for allegedly
driving drunk after he blew
through a red light on 57th Street
on April 19.
The arresting offi cer claims he
spotted the suspect run the light
near Sixth Avenue at 4:15 am, and
that the guy afterwards blew nearly
twice the legal limit.
Fury road
Police cuffed a man who they say
attacked another guy amid a Third
Avenue road rage incident on April
18.
The victim told police he was arguing
with the suspect over his erratic
driving near 56th Street at 9:30
a.m. when the man leapt from his
vehicle and started pummeling his
chest.
Cops arrested their suspect
that day, charging him with misdemeanor
assault, according to police.
Too high way
Offi cers busted a man for allegedly
driving drunk after he smashed
into another car on the Gowanus
Expressway on April 17.
The victim told police the suspect
collided with his car on the highway
near 60th Street at 11:40 pm, before
attempting to fl ee the scene on foot.
