A baddie stole a ride-share
driver’s car at gunpoint on
Court Street on March 2.
The victim picked up the
lout at Remsen Street and Linden
Boulevard, and when they
got to Atlantic Avenue at 3:40
am, the malcontent told him,
“Pull over or I’ll shoot you in
the back of the head,” according
to cops.
The victim ran out of his
car and the crook got in the
front seat and sped off on
Atlantic Avenue toward the
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway,
according to police.
Clothes swiped
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
stealing clothes from
a Fulton Street department
store and threatening an employee
with a razor blade on
Feb. 26.
The man allegedly stuffed
48 items into his bag and tried
to leave the store near Gallatin
Place without paying at 6:20
pm, according to police.
When the store’s security
tried to stop the man, he allegedly
threatened to cut the
employee with a razor blade
before he fled into the Jay
Street MetroTech subway
station, cops said.
The employee then pointed
the man out to officers, who
arrested him, though he resisted
by flailing his arms and
tensing up, police said.
Bye, cycle
Someome stole a woman’s
bike on Remsen Street
on Feb. 25.
The victim said she left
her bike inside a yoga studio
between Clinton and Court
streets to which several people
have access at 6:30 am,
and when she returned two
hours later it was gone, according
to police.
Fare beater
A passenger hit a ride-share
driver in the face on Sands
Street on Feb. 27.
The victim picked up the
man in Manhattan and drove
him to his destination near
Prospect Street at 2:15 am.
After dropping off the lout,
the snake turned around and
hit the driver in the head with
a blunt tool, causing pain and
swelling. cops said.
E-thief
Someone swiped a delivery
man’s e-bike he parked on Pacific
Street on Feb. 28.
The victim told cops left
his two-wheeler outside while
making a delivery near Court
Street at 4:50 pm, and when he
returned, it was gone.
A security camera around
the corner on Court Street
caught the villain speeding
off with the bike, according
to cops.
Foiled!
Cops cuffed a woman who
they said tried to steal clothes
from a store at Albee Square
West on March 1.
The woman allegedly took
a bag, pants, and jackets and
tried to leave the store near
Fulton Street without paying
just after 4:30 pm, but was arrested
at the store two hours
later, cops said.
Sneak
A thief stole a woman’s
wallet at a Hoyt Street bar
on March 1.
The victim said that the
sneak took her wallet and
fled the scene between Livingston
and Schermerhorn
streets at 7:30 pm, and that
her credit card was used to
buy $260 shoes about eight

work with elected officials,
the community, and all local
stakeholders on the entire
project corridor to hear their
input,” Morales said.
But one CB2 member accused
transit officials of not
being transparent enough
about their plans for the project
— which could kick off as
soon as next year — claiming
the panel is still waiting on
answers to its own questions
about the forthcoming fix.
“I want them to not be evasive
about it, and answer our
questions about alternative
proposals,” said Transportation
and Public Safety Committee
member Patrick Killackey,
who lives in Brooklyn
Heights. “This project is going
to change our lives. Why
are you just dismissing having
dialogue with the community
and experts?”

A thief stole a man’s keys
at his Clinton Avenue office
on the night of Feb. 25.
The victim told cops that
he left his office between Fulton
Street and Atlantic Avenue
at around 5:30 pm and
came back the next day at 9
am to find that boxes containing
computer equipment had
been opened, but that nothing
was missing except for his
keys, according to cops.
Have a seat
A bozo threw a chair at a
woman at N. Portland Avenue
on Feb. 28.
The victim told cops that
she walked into a building between
Park Avenue and Auburn
Place at 5:35 pm when
the jerk threw a chair, which
was intended for another guy
in front of the building, but
hit her in the thigh, causing
pain, said cops.
The clod then ran in an unknown
direction and paramedics
brought the woman
to Brooklyn Hospital, according
to cops.
Cutting case
Cops cuffed a woman who
they said tried to stab another
woman with scissors outside
a Flatbush Avenue diner on
March 1.
The victim told cops that
she was near Fulton Street at
8:50 am when the woman allegedly
lunged at her with a
pair of scissors. She dodged
the attack, before running into
the diner for safety, authorities
said.
The victim then called the
cops, who rushed to the scene
and arrested the alleged assailant
immediately.
Dodged a bullet
A baddie fired a shot at a
guy on the A train at Washington
Avenue on March 2.
The victim told police he
boarded the train at the Kingston
Avenue station and got
into an argument with the
reprobate. When the victim
was getting off the train at
the stop near Clinton Avenue
at 1:45 am, the lout shot
at him on the platform, according
to cops.
The bullet went through
the victim’s backpack and the
victim escaped unscathed,
cops said. The attacker fled
the scene at Lafayette Avenue,
police said.
Caned!
Police arrested a man who
allegedly hit his home aid with
a cane on Ashland Place on
March 3.
The victim told police he
and his patient had an argument
about the man wanting
the aid to leave his home
between Fulton street and
DeKalb Avenue at 7:25 pm
when the man whacked the
home aid in the face with his
cane, cutting his ear, according
to cops.
The victim then called the
police, who arrested the man
at his residence an hour later,
police said
Bag bandit
A sneak thief stole a woman’s
bag on Fulton Street on
Feb. 27.
The victim told cops she
put her bag down near Clermont
Avenue with her wallet
in it while she was in a fight
with a former friend when a
lout took her wallet and ran to
the Lafayette Avenue C train
subway station near S. Oxford
Street.
She was able to recover her
wallet, but the punk had stolen
her credit card and $30, according
to the authorities.
Purse nabbed
A cur robbed a woman
at a bar on Fulton Street on
March 2.
The victim told cops that
she briefly left her purse, laptop,
and phone unattended at
the watering hole near at S.
Elliot Place at 2:30 am, and
when she returned they were

Candy man
Cops arrested an alleged
burglar suspected of swiping a
handful of candy from a Sixth
Avenue apartment building
on Feb. 22.
The suspect, 55, illegally
entered the property between
Sixth and Seventh streets at
11:50 am, nabbing the measly
stash of sweets, before
he was picked up by police,
cops said.
Upon his arrest on a felony
burglary charge, patrolmen
found the suspect in possession
of a crack pipe, according
to police.
Shrimp scamp
Police cuffed a man for allegedly
stealing an estimated
$80 worth of shrimp and other
groceries from a Third Street
market on Feb. 21.
An employee at the store
spotted the suspect, 56, nabbing
the tasty crustaceans and
other treats from the store near
Third Avenue at 1:30 pm.
Police nabbed him that
day on a misdemeanor larceny
charge, cops said.
Strolled away
Cops have called off the
hunt for the thief who stole a
pricey baby stroller from the
front yard of a DeGraw Street
home on Feb. 18.
The victim, a 34-year-old
woman, told police she left
her Uppa Baby Vista Double
Stroller outsider her home
between Fourth and Fifth avenues
at 4 pm, and returned
three hours later to find her
ritzy kid carrier stolen.
Panty raid!
Cops arrested a 35-yearold
man for allegedly stealing
panties from a Flatbush
Avenue lingerie store on
Feb. 19.
An employee told police
she spotted the suspect nab a
whopping 22 pairs of underwear
from the shop between
Fourth and Atlantic avenues
at 4:50 pm, before trying to
skip past the register with his
ill-gotten undies.
Police busted the man that
day on a misdemeanor larceny
charge, cops said.
Beer run
Police busted a guy for allegedly
stealing beer from a
delivery truck on Ninth Street
on Feb. 19.
The suspect nabbed two
12 packs of Miller High Life
and another 12 pack of Coors
Lite from the truck parked
between Fifth and Sixth avenues
at 10:25 am.
The man allegedly exclaimed
to police “you got
me,” when they busted him
on a felony burglary charge
later that day, cops said.

Smoking gun
Cops are looking for the
gunmen who they said robbed
a Fourth Avenue bodega on
Feb. 26, taking $400 and cigarettes.
The victim told police three
men wearing masks barged
into the store between 17th and
18th streets waving a pistol
and demanding cash at 4:25
am, and that while one guy
cleaned out the register, another
man looted a back-room
storage area, nabbing another
$300 worth of smokes.
Push and pedal
Some wacko attacked a
66-year-old woman on Fifth
Avenue on Feb. 26.
The victim told police the
reprobate shoved her to the
ground as she strolled between
50th and 51st streets at 12:48
pm, before hopping on a bicycle
and fleeing.
Knock it off
Cops arrested a 38-yearold
man for allegedly selling
knock-off merchandise from
a Fourth Avenue variety store
on Feb. 26.
Police claim to have found
the suspect hawking counterfeit
North Face backpacks,
gloves, hats, and Adidas headphones
from the store between
25th and 26th streets at 10:58
am, and he was arrested on a
felony forgery charge.

A thief drove off with a
man’s 2014 Ford Eco Van he
parked on Third Avenue on
Feb. 28.
The victim told police he
left his ride between 51st and
52nd streets at 11:50 am, and
returned three days later to
find his van poached.
Hot and cold
Cops have given up the
hunt for the man who set fire
to a Fifth Avenue apartment
building on Feb. 28.
Fire erupted within an
apartment inside the building
between 49th and 50th
streets at 9:39 am, and a city
fire marshal later concluded
some nut job intentionally set
the blaze, cops said.
Sharp suspect
Police cuffed a man for
allegedly slashing a man’s
face with a box cutter inside
a Fourth Avenue eatery on
March 2.
The victim told police he
was arguing with the suspect
inside the restaurant between
54th and 55th streets
at midnight when the guy
whipped out the razor blade
and dragged it across the left
side of the victim’s head.
The suspect fled the scene
following the attack, but the
victim joined police on a
search of the area, and identified
his assailant after spotting
him on 50th Street near
Fourth Avenue, according to
