Cops cuffed a woman who
they say hit a man with a piggy
bank at a Schermerhorn Street
apartment on April 2, police
said.
The victim sustained a cut
to his face and a swollen eye
after the woman allegedly hit
him with the piggy bank in
the apartment between Smith
and Hoyt streets at 8:17 p.m.,
according to police.
Bike bandits
A couple of bad guys
nabbed a Citi Bike from a man
on Court Street on April 3.
According to police, one
punk told the victim, “I’m
gonna shoot you,” and he
simulated a firearm in his
pocket just before 9 p.m. near
Schermerhorn Street.
The toughs hit the man
in the face before hijacking
the bike from the victim, police
said.
Midday mugging
Two marauders mugged a
man at Montague Street on
April 6.
The thieves punched the
victim in the face and ran off
with his debit cards, subway
pass and driver’s license between
Montague Terrace and
Hicks Street at 12:45 p.m.,
police said.
Fake out
A crook punched and
robbed a woman on Nevins
Street on April 6.
According to police, the
victim agreed to meet the thief
near Wyckoff Street at 10:40
p.m. to purchase a cellphone
from him.
Before the victim could
complete the transaction, the
tough punched the woman and
ran off with her cellphone and
cash, police said.
Won’t go easily
Police arrested a man who
they say hit an officer after refusing
to leave a Fulton Street
store on April 1.
The man allegedly refused
to leave the shop near Hoyt
Street after he was told multiple
times to leave at 4:40
p.m., police said.
According to police, the
man hit an officer in the
knee after cops arrived to
arrest him.
Store fight
Cops cuffed a woman for
allegedly hitting a person at
an Atlantic Avenue department
store on April 4.
The woman allegedly hit
the victim in the face in the
store near Boerum Place at
9:20 a.m., police said.
Spending spree
Some lout syphoned more
than $2,000 from a woman’s
bank account at a MetroTech
bank on March 20 .
The crook started using
the victim’s debit card at the
bank between Myrtle Avenue
and Gold Street sometime
between 1:30 and 11 p.m.,
police said.
According to police, the
woman had ordered a new
debit card to her Beverly Road
apartment and it never arrived.
The victim reported the crime
on April 1, police said.
Subway rat
A scoundrel swiped a
woman’s bag at the
Schermerhorn Street subway
on March 21.
According to police, the
woman realized her bag was
not on the seat as the subway
doors closed and left the
station near Hoyt Street on
March 21 at 8 p.m. She reported
the theft on April 2, according
to authorities.
Helping hand
Four bandits stole a
woman’s phone at MetroTech
Center on April 2.
The group of goons asked
the victim for help just before
10 p.m., and when she got off
the phone, they snatched it
from her hand and ran into
the subway station near Jay
Street, police said.
Phones stolen
A jerk stole a man’s phones
and wallet at a Willoughby
Street shop on April 2.
According to police, the
man left behind his two cellphones
— one of which doubled
as a wallet — at the store
near Pearl Street, and when
he came back at 4:30 p.m.,
they were gone.
The thief was caught on
surveillance walking out of
the business with the victim’s
belongings, police said.
Smooth criminal
Cops cuffed a man who
they say stole a man’s phone on
Flatbush Avenue on April 3.
The suspect allegedly took
the victim’s cellphone from
his jeans near State Street at
12:51 p.m., police said.
According to police, when
an officer tried to arrest the
man, he refused to put his
hands behind his back and
allegedly ran away.
Backpack bandit
A purloiner stole a woman’s
backpack at an Atlantic
Avenue store on April 4.
The wretch seized the victim’s
bag — containing her
credit cards and personal
identification — while she
turned around to pack up
her purchases at the shop
near Boerum Place at 10 p.m.,
police said.
Purse snatched
A purse snatcher robbed
a woman at Nevins Street on
April 4.
The rapscallion grabbed
the woman’s bag from her
shoulder as she got off the
bus near Flatbush Avenue at
2:15 p.m., police said.
According to police, the
bandit fled to the Nevins
Street subway station.
Six golden rings
A looter stole more than
$1,000 from a Water Street
merchant on April 7.
Some punk lifted six gold
rings from a small business
near Anchorage Place sometime
between 2:30 and 3:30
p.m., according to police.

Cab crooks
A group of brutes violently
robbed a cab driver on Ashland
Place on April 4.
The driver picked up the
three goons in Manhattan
and was dropping them at
their destination near Hanson
Place at 8:15 p.m., when
one of the guys punched
him in the back of the head,
causing substantial pain,
according to cops.
The two other ne’er-dowells
snatched the victim’s
phone from the front cupholder
and the three louts
fled on St. Felix Street toward
Lafayette Avenue,
police said.
Stoop buster
Cops arrested a man who
they say punched a guy in the
mouth and tried to rob him
on Willoughby Avenue on
April 1.
The victim told police they
got into an argument about sitting
on the stairs at the suspect’s
residence near Clermont
Avenue around 11 p.m.
when the man punched him in
the mouth, cutting the victim’s
lip, according to police.
The suspect then allegedly
tried to take the victim’s phone
when he was attempting to
call the cops, according to
the authorities.
The Boys in Blue caught
up with the suspect on April
5 outside the 88th Precinct
at the corner of Classon and
DeKalb avenues, according
to the police.
Bottle basher
Police cuffed a man for allegedly
hitting another man
over the head with a glass
bottle on Myrtle Avenue on
April 6.
The victim told cops he was
near Washington Avenue at
8:40 p.m. when the suspect
allegedly bashed the bottle in
the back of his head, causing
pain and bleeding.
Police ar rested the
man 20 minutes later at
Ashland Place, according to
authorities.
Pup scam
A fraud scammed a
woman who wanted to buy
a puppy on Clinton Avenue on
March 31.
The victim sent the unknown
charlatan more than
$1,000 to buy the dog via an
app, but noticed the next day
that the transaction was fraudulent
and the seller cut off contact
to her, between Gates and
Greene avenues at 6 p.m.,
according to cops.
Super swiper
A thief robbed a woman at
an Ashland Place supermarket
on April 4.
The victim left her wallet,
notebook, day planner,
birth certificates, and flash
drive on a chair in the eating
area of the store near
Lafayette Avenue at 10 a.m.
and walked away for a few
minutes, cops said.
When she returned, the
items were gone, and surveillance
cameras show another
woman swiping the stuff
and leaving the store, according
to the authorities.

Cops arrested a 42-year-old
man for allegedly punching
a guy inside a Butler Street
hotel on March 29.
The victim told police he
was trying to diffuse an argument
between the suspect
and another person at the inn
between Nevins Street and
Third Avenue at 10:55 p.m.
when the guy suddenly turned
around and socked him right
in the kisser.
Pedaling crime
Police have given up the
hunt for the cyclist who pedaled
off after smashing into
a limo on Fourth Avenue on
March 25.
The driver told police he
was near Sixth Street when
the bike rider slammed into
his driver-side door at 2:45
a.m., before taking off.
Drunk tank
Cops busted a guy for
allegedly driving drunk
after he ran a red light on
Fifth Avenue on March 25 and
smashed into another car.
The victim told police he
was near Flatbush Avenue
when the suspect ran the red
and smashed into his car at
1:20 a.m., leaving him with
head and back injuries.
The patrolman who
interviewed the suspect
following the collision
claimed the guy was clearly
drunk, rambling incoherently,
and unable to stand, and the
man later refused to be tested
for inebriation at a nearby
hospital, cops said.

Moving van
A thief looted a man’s van
he parked on 50th Street sometime
after March 27, taking
tools and electronics.
The victim told police he
left his vehicle between Third
and Fourth avenues at 10 p.m.,
and returned five days later to
find a small fortune worth of
equipment had been stolen,
including a pricey laptop.
Mr. Knife Guy
A knifeman cut his way out
of a Hamilton Avenue hardware
store after nabbing a drill
on April 2.
An employee told police
he spotted the crook trying
to slink out of the store near
19th Street with the stolen
drill at 6:45 p.m., and the fiend
pulled out a knife when he
confronted him, swinging it
at the worker before fleeing
out the door.
Bad luck
Three crooks robbed a
man inside an illegal 58th
Street gambling den on April
6, taking $9,500 in jewelry
and cash.
The victim told police the
robbers forced him into the
off-the-books casino between
Seventh and Eighth avenues at
11 p.m., where they accused
them of owing a whopping
$120,000 in gambling debts
from previous visits to the
illicit house of chance, before
nabbing his stuff as a
down payment on his unpaid
bills.
No fare
Cops are hunting five men
wanted for beating and robbing
a cab driver on Third
Avenue on April 7.
The victim told police
he picked up the crooks between
16th Street and Prospect
Avenue at 4:30 a.m., but
once inside one of his passengers
attacked, slapping
him in the face, while one
of his pals grabbed $40 off
the dash, and the whole party
then fled.
