on April 15.
The victim told cops he
left his coat with his wallet,
bank card, and identification
in the locker room at the fitness
center near Boerum Place
while he worked out between
7 and 8:30 p.m., and when
he returned, someone had
snatched it.
Purse prowler
A sneak stole a woman’s
purse at Albee Square West
on April 16.
Police said the victim
placed her bag next to her
at Flatbush Avenue Extension
at 7 p.m. and the lout
nabbed it.
Ring thief
A purloiner bagged a pricey
ring at a Front Street gym on
April 17.
The victim took off her
$7,000 ring in a locker room at
the fitness center near Adams
Street around 3 p.m. to put on
lotion, but when she left, she
noticed that she had forgotten
it, according to police,
When she went back to
check 40 minutes later, the
ring was gone, cops said.

Robbing blinds
A filcher took blinds from
a loading dock near Flushing
Avenue sometime between
April 8 and 16, the victim reported
on April 17.
The victim said that blinds
were delivered to the loading
dock near Sixth Street and
Morris Avenue, then stolen
sometime between 11 a.m. on
April 8 and 4 p.m. a week
later, police said.
Backpack bandit
A pilferer snatched a backpack
from a Fulton Street bar
on April 16.
The thief stole the bag that
contained her laptop while she
was at the bar near Rockwell
and Ashland Place around
11:30 p.m., police said.
Internet scam
A scoundrel tried to extort
money from a guy near
a N. Oxford Walk residence
sometime between April 14
and 16, the victim reported
on April 16, police said.
The victim chatted with a
lady over Facebook and exchanged
private photos from
his residence near Myrtle and
N. Portland Avenue around
1 a.m. between April 14 and
16, police said.
After their online exchange,
a villian hopped on
the chat asking for $5,000 or
else he would post the sensitive
content all over social
media, according to police.
The reprobate lowered
his asking price down to
$900, but the victim made
no deal and didn’t pay him,
police said.
Where’s my car?
A weasel stole a trailer
parked at an Atlantic Avenue
station sometime between
April 16 and 17.
The lawbreaker removed
the Ford Eco from its parking
spot at a gas station near Classon
Avenue and Lefferts Place
sometime between 4:30 p.m.
on April 16 and 11:27 a.m. the
next day, police said.
Cleaned out
A crook swiped packages
from a Fulton Street building
on April 17.
Police said the thief forced
their way through the front
door of the place near Downing
Street around 1 a.m. and
walked off with packages
containing a vacuum and
fertilizer.
Credit crook
A robber stole money from
a man’s bank account near
Fleet Place sometime between
April 9 and 10.
According to police, the
victim never received his
new debit card in the mail,
but money was taken out near
Myrtle Avenue.
Blink of an eye
A sneak thief robbed a
woman at a Myrtle Avenue
automated teller machine on
April 18.
The victim placed her
cellphone on the cash dispenser
near Vanderbilt Avenue
around 8 a.m., and when
she turned to put her belongings
away, it was gone, according
to police.
Police said the victim saw

A fraudster syphoned almost
$2,000 from a guy’s
bank account at Myrtle Avenue
sometime between March
26 and 28, the victim reported
on April 18.
The victim signed up for
a new credit card that never
came, police said. Then, the
nogoodnik stole the money
sometime between March 26
and 28 and the card was intercepted
at the bank between
Vanderbilt and Clinton avenues,
police said.
Crossfire
A gunman shot a teen near
Ashland Place on April 18.
The criminal shot a firearm
three times and one shot
grazed the victim’s leg while
she was hanging out with
friends near Myrtle Avenue
at 6:10 p.m., police said.
Ring robbery
A looter stole a woman’s
wedding ring at her Waverly
Avenue apartment sometime
between April 13 and 20.
The victim put her wedding
ring in a jewelry box on
April 13 around 4:30 p.m. before
leaving her residence between
Greene and Gates Avenue,
police said.
The woman returned home
on April 20 around 4:30 p.m.
from a trip to Nigeria, and her
wedding ring and other expensive
jewelry were missing
from the box, cops said.

What a tool
A crook broke into the
locker room of a New York
City Housing Authority Henry
Street apartment complex and
stole tools at some point overnight
on April 22.
The theft occurred at the
locker room at the complex
at Centre Mall at some point
between 9:30 p.m. on April
22 and 5 a.m. the next day,
when the baddie pushed in
an air conditioner and stole
the goods, police said.
Package deal
A baddie stole a package of
clothes inside from the front
doorstep of a Union Street
home on April 17.
The thief hit the apartment
between Smith and Hoyt
streets at 1:15 p.m., cops said.

Threat-level zero
Cops have given up the
hunt for the creep who threatened
a security guard at an
Atlantic Avenue department
store on April 11.
The victim told police the
fiend stalked her throughout
the store near Flatbush Avenue
at 10:22 am, growling threats
that included, “I should hit
you,” and “I’m going to punch
you behind your head.”
Oh, baby!
Police cuffed a 46-yearold
man accused of nabbing
a baby walker from a Sterling
Place house on April 11.
The suspect sliced open
a package located inside a
gated area of a brownstone
between Fifth and Sixth avenues
at 4:09 pm, before attempting
to flee with her illgotten
baby paraphernalia,
according to police.
Police caught up with her
that day, finding her in possession
of a knife and a crack
pipe, and charging her with a
misdemeanor burglar’s tools
charge, cops said.
Booze bandit
Some crook nabbed a case
of wine from the lobby of a
St. Marks Avenue apartment
building on April 9.
The victim told police Fed
Ex left his booze in the foyer of
his building between Fifth and
Sixth avenues at 1 pm, and he
returned later to find his $180
worth of hooch stolen.
Party perp
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
driving drunk on Carlton
Avenue on April 13.
The arresting officer
claimed he was responding
to a call for a bicyclist injured
when he found the motorist
drunk in his 2007 Nissan
Murano near Bergen Street
at 11:38 pm, and a Breathalyzer
conducted at the scene
showed a blood-alcohol content
over the legal limit.
An official Breathalyzer
conducted later showed the
man under the legal limit,
but that didn’t stop cops from
charging the man with a misdemeanor
DWI, said cops.
Word crime
Some jerk keyed the word
“b----” into a woman’s car in
front of her 12th Street home
on April 9.
The victim told police she
parked her car between Sixth
and Seventh avenues at 8 pm,
and returned later to find the
hood of her truck besmirched
with the scratched slur.

Bad blow
Cops busted a man for allegedly
driving drunk after
he blew through a red light on
57th Street on April 19.
The arresting officer
claims he spotted the suspect
run the light near Sixth Avenue
at 4:15 am, and that the
guy afterwards blew nearly
twice the legal limit.
Fury road
Police cuffed a man who
they say attacked another guy
amid a Third Avenue road rage
incident on April 18.
The victim told police he
was arguing with the suspect
over his erratic driving near
56th Street at 9:30 am when
the man leapt from his vehicle
and started pummeling
his chest.
Cops arrested their suspect
that day, charging him with
misdemeanor assault, according
to police.
Too high way
Officers busted a man for
allegedly driving drunk after
he smashed into another
car on the Gowanus Expressway
on April 17.
The victim told police
the suspect collided with
his car on the highway near
60th Street at 11:40 pm, before
attempting to flee the
scene on foot.
But the victim ran down the
other motorist, holding him
down until police arrived to
administer a Breathalyzer
test, which showed the victim
was nearly twice over the
legal limit, cops said.
Bad blood
Investigators are hunting
for seven men wanted in
connection to a brutal beatdown
and stabbing outside a
Third Avenue watering hole
on April 17.
The victim told police he
was brawling with his brotherin
law inside the bar between
50th and 51st streets at 3:45
am, but that his relative and
six pals jumped him afterwards
on the street, slapping
him around before stabbing
him — twice.
The man’s attackers fled
afterwards, while the victim
managed to call himself
a car and make his way to a
nearby hospital for treatment,
cops said.
Name game
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
providing false identification
amid a 39th Street
traffic stop on April 16.
The arresting officer pulled
over the suspect after he was
spotted inside his vehicle obstructing
traffic near Fourth
Avenue at 11:15 pm, and the
guy gave him a Guatemalan
passport for ID.
But the officer’s investigation
soon revealed five open
containers of Famosa beer,
and he Breathalyzed the guy,
only for his results to come
back negative, cops said.
Finally, the officer uncovered
a NYS ID with a different
name from his passport,
resulting in his arrest on the
misdemeanor impersonation
charge, cops said.
