A bandit looted a sanitation worker’s
belongings from his car parked
on Bergen Avenue on Jan. 11.
The victim told police that when
he left his car between Avenues K
and L, and returned around 6 am
to fi nd the front window smashed
and his cash, wallet, bank cards,
license, and Department of Sanitation
badge missing from his front
center console.
Clothes thieves
Cops cuffed two women for taking
clothes from an Avenue U department
store on Jan. 7.
Police said the suspects stole
the duds from the store near Flatbush
Avenue at 7 pm and walked
out without paying, before cops arrested
them later at 10:30 pm, according
to police.
Couple of bandits
Police arrested a man and a
woman who they said stole clothes
from an Avenue U department store
on Jan. 1.
A store security offi cer saw the
suspects take the garments from
the store near Flatbush Avenue and
leave without paying just after 8:30
pm, according to the authorities.
Police arrested both of them just
after 10 pm, according to cops.
Drove away
A lout stole a large sum of cash
from a car parked on E. 35th Street
on Jan. 11.
The victim said that he left his
car parked in his driveway between
Avenues K and L at about 2:50 am,
and when he returned at 9:30 am, he
saw that someone had taken $15,000
from the hand rest, said cops.
He later checked security cameras
and saw that the brigand
walked up to the car, opened the
driver’s-side door, and took the
money, police said.

Delinquent trio
Cops cuffed two boys and a girl
for allegedly beating up and robbing
another teen on a Coney Island–
bound D train at the Bay 50 Street
station on Jan. 17.
The victim told police he was on
the train near Stillwell Avenue at
9:10 am when the trio walked up to
him and one of the boys asked, “Can
I see your cellphone?” When the victim
refused, that suspect tried to
snatch it from his hand, but the victim
hid it in his underwear, according
to police.
The suspect then told the other
male suspect something in a different
language, and the second teen
allegedly grabbed the victim and
slammed him on the train fl oor, according
to police.
He and the female suspect then
kicked the victim’s back while the
fi rst suspect stole the victim’s wireless
headphones, cash, and an e-cigarette,
cops said.
The fi rst suspect then allegedly
held the bounty in front of the victim’s
face, and as the train pulled
into the station, the victim got up
and one of the kids shoved him out,
saying that if he wanted his stuff he
should meet them outside school at
2 pm, and if he called the cops, they
would kill him, cops said.
Subway sneak
Police arrested a man who they
said mugged another man on the D
train near Surf Avenue on Jan. 20.
A police offi cer was patrolling
the train at the station near Stillwell
Avenue at 1:20 am when he saw
the suspect jostling the victim.
The Boy in Blue then checked
with the victim to fi nd that someone
had stolen his cellphone from
his front jacket pocket, so the offi -
cer stopped the suspect on the train
platform and found the phone next
to the man, according to police.

Caught off guard
A purloiner robbed a store on
Nostrand Avenue on Jan. 14.
The ne’er-do-well walked in to
the store near Avenue Z shortly after
noon with his face concealed
with a scarf and told the employee
behind the counter, “Open up the
register,” the victim told police.
At fi rst, the victim didn’t realize
what was happening, so the masked
malefactor clarifi ed, saying, “Open
up the register and give me the
money,” she told cops.
She opened the register and
handed him $20, but he wasn’t satisfi
ed, demanding she give him all the
money, she told offi cials.
She put the drawer on the counter
and the thief snatched $115 and
fl ed the scene heading towards Avenue
Y, according to authorities.

Bloody burglar
A nogoodnik broke into a woman’s
home on Canton Court on Jan.
16.
The victim told police the lout
broke the bedroom window of the
home near Lois Avenue sometime
between 6:30 am and 8 pm to get in,
but didn’t steal anything.
The victim also found blood on
the fl oor, she told the authorities.
Surgical robbery
A snake stole cash from a chain
store at Nostrand Avenue on Jan.
20.
The lout walked into the store
near Avenue Y at 3:20 pm wearing a
surgical mask and told the cashier,
“I don’t want to hurt you, just give
me all the money,” cops said.
He then simulated a gun and said
“Hurry up,” after which the cashier
handed over $600 before the scoundrel
made a run for it towards Avenue
X, according to police.

Road rage
A pair of brutes assaulted and
stabbed a man in a fi t of road rage
on 65th Street on Jan. 17.
The incident occurred near W.
First Street at around 5:20 pm, when
the perps cut off the victim — who
told police he was driving towards
W. First Street from Dahill Road
— with their red Infi niti. The victim
honked his horn, prompting the
driver of the Infi niti to exit his car
and approach the victim’s, where he
punched him, causing scratching
and redness to the man’s left lip, according
to the report.
The victim then exited his car
and the men began to assault him,
causing him to fall to the ground,
where one of the men pinned him to
the ground with his knee before releasing
him, police said.
The men then fl ed in their car,
according to the report, which
added that the victim did not realize
that he had been stabbed until
he noticed four puncture wounds
to his upper left leg after the ordeal
was over.
What a tool
A lout broke into a white 2015
Ford car parked on Bath Avenue
and stole construction tools sometime
overnight on Jan. 16.
The theft occurred at Bay 37th
Street at some point between 6:30
pm on Jan. 16 and the following
morning, according to the report.
Crazy ex
A man’s ex-girlfriend allegedly
stole his mini Mac computer from
his Cropsey Avenue home on Jan. 19
and sold it for $200.
The man told police he returned
to his home between 17th Avenue
and Bay 16th Street around 7 pm,
and found the computer missing
from his bedroom.
When he confronted the woman,
she told him she had sold it for $200
before fl eeing in an unknown direction,
according to the report.
Big haul
A baddie broke into a 63rd Street
home and stole electronics, jewelry,
and video games on Jan. 19.
The incident occurred at the
home between Bay Parkway and
23rd Avenue around 1:30 pm, police

Deaf blow
Cops are hunting for three goons
who they said beat and robbed a
hearing-impaired man on 62nd
Street on Jan. 13.
The victim told police the crooks
jumped him near Seventh Avenue at
9:30 pm, one of them grabbing him
in a chokehold, while his buddies
grabbed $190 from his pockets, before
leaping into a waiting car and
peeling off.
The victim’s hearing aid fell from
his ear at some point during the assault,
and he wasn’t able to recover
it, cops said.
Mini crime
A burglar ransacked a Sixth Avenue
mini mart on Jan. 21, taking
pre-paid phone cards and the cash
register.
The victim told police the crooks
smashed a window leading into
the market between 56th and 57th
streets at 2:30 am, before nabbing
their cash and valuables, and fl eeing.

Three crooks nabbed shoes and a
cellphone off a man inside a Fourth
Avenue apartment building on Jan.
20.
The victim told police he went
to meet one of the thieves inside
the building between 63rd and 64th
streets at 9:35 pm, when the scoundrel
and his two buddies held him
at knifepoint, before grabbing his
