A lout stole a man’s car wheels
on E. 53rd Street on the night of Jan.
20.
The victim left his vehicle parked
outside the house between Avenues
H and I at 6:45 pm, cops said.
When he got up the next day at
9:10 am, he saw that someone had
stolen all four Honda rims and Michelin
tires from the car and left it
raised on cinder blocks, said cops.
Thanks a lot!
A bandit robbed a woman in an
Avenue U parking lot on Jan. 23.
The victim told cops she was
standing outside her car inside the
lot between E. 55th and 56th streets
just after 2 pm when the malcontent
approached her and asked her a series
of questions.
He then went to her passenger
door and snatched her wallet from
inside her bag and made a run for it
towards Avenue U, according to police.
Car buster
A nogoodnik robbed a woman’s
car and used her bank cards on Foster
Avenue on Jan. 26.
The woman parked her car at
her boyfriend’s house between E.
57th and 58th streets at 5 am and received
a call from her bank alerting
her of fraudulent activity on her account,
according to cops.
Then she went to check her car
and found that a malefactor had
busted her car window and taken
her handbag, including her debit
card, passport, Social Security
Card, birth certifi cate, and driver’s
license, police said.
The victim also told cops that the
thief used the card for $81 at Staples
and made two more unsuccessful attempts
at two different pharmacies.

Bad trip
A man under arrest for breaking
into a W. 16th Street building while
high on Jan. 24 then punched another
man while in a Surf Avenue
holding cell, police said.
A woman at the residence between
Stillwell Avenue and Bay
50th Street told cops she heard
screaming in the hallway at 6:40 am
and went to the door to see the suspect
kicking the entry door, thereby
breaking one of the locks.
She called the police, who apprehended
the man and brought him to
the 60th Precinct, according to the
police report.
The detective squad determined
that the suspect had been under the
infl uence of drugs, and thought that
people were chasing him, so he tried
to hide in the victim’s home and
didn’t have any intention of committing
any crime there, according
to the police report.
While in the holding cell just after
10:30 am that same day, the defendant
punched another man in
the face, according to the authorities.
His burglary charge had been
reclassifi ed to a criminal trespass,
but now he also has a felony assault
complaint, said offi cials.
Clocked and robbed
A lout punched and robbed a man
on Stillwell Avenue on Jan. 26.
The victim told cops that the
ne’er-do-well sucker-punched him
in the face and forced $200 from his
pocket between Shore Parkway and
Neptune Avenue at 6 pm.
He then made a run for it towards
Neptune Avenue, cops said.
That’s pucked up!
A brute struck a woman in the
head with a hockey stick on Seagate
Avenue on Jan. 27.
The victim and the villain were
arguing near Lyme Avenue just
after 7 am when the malcontent
grabbed his stick and whacked her
across the head, causing a painful
laceration, according to the authorities.
Paramedics rushed the victim
to Coney Island Hospital for treatment,
cops said.
Stabbed in the chest
A reprobate stabbed a man on W.
33rd Street on Jan. 27.
The victim and the baddie had a
dispute between Surf and Mermaid
avenues at 9:30 pm when the latter
took a knife and stabbed him in the
chest, causing him serious injury,
cops said.
Emergency personnel brought
the stabbed man to Lutheran Hospital
for treatment, according to the
authorities.

Limo bandit
A man robbed a limo driver at
knifepoint on Avenue V on Jan. 27.

The victim told cops that after
the malcontent directed the victim
to pick up his girlfriend near W.
Eighth Street around 12:45 am, he
put a knife to his neck and asked for
his wallet and money.
The driver obliged and the baddie
fl ed towards W. Ninth Street on
foot, cops said.
The rapscallion also used the victim’s
credit card and the latter said
he was in contact with him over the
phone, he told cops.
He got away!
Police arrested three men who
they said violently tried to rob a
man on E. 27th Street on Jan. 23.
The victim was near Voorhies
Avenue at 7:30 pm when the men
allegedly grabbed his arms and demanded
he give them his property.
One of the men then allegedly
punched the victim under the left
eye, causing swelling and contusion,
cops said.
He was able to break free from
the suspects and ran away, according
to authorities.
Cops said they later apprehended
the three suspects on Avenue W and
E. 29th Street.
Came to blows
Cops cuffed three suspect who
they said attacked and robbed a guy
on E. 26th Street on Jan. 23.
A witness told cops the man
was near Avenue X at 7:30 pm when
the suspects, who were across the
street, crossed and approached the
man, before punching him in the
face and going through his pockets.
They then fl ed towards Avenue W,
police reported.
The suspects allegedly stole the
victim’s AirPods, according to police.

Blinged-out crook
A criminal stole an estimated
$45,000 worth of jewelry from a Bay
14th Street home on Jan. 23.
The incident occurred at the
home between Bath and Cropsey
avenues at some point after 1:30
pm, when the homeowner left, police
said, adding that there were no
signs of forced entry but that the homeowner
said he had lost a second
set of keys and that his home alarm
system had not been turned on.
Drove off
A thief stole a man’s car from its
New Utrecht Avenue parking spot
on Jan. 21.
The theft occurred from the spot
at 66th Street at some point before 8
am, police said.
Tried but failed
A good-for-nothing tried to break
into a W. Sixth Street home on Jan.
22.
Police said the miscreant tried to
get in to the home between Avenue
O and 65th Street at around noon using
a crowbar.
Glass half empty
A lout smashed a man’s head with
a glass cup, causing a laceration, on
McDonald Avenue on Jan. 22.
The victim told police he was between
Avenue P and Quentin Road at
7:40 pm, when the goon asked him if
he wanted to talk, prompting a fi ght
with the man. The nogoodnik then
grabbed the glass cup and hit the
victim in the back of the head twice,
police said, adding that emergency
medical personnel transported the
man to Maimonides Medical Center
for treatment.
Big haul
A baddie broke into an Avenue
U home and stole $1,000 and jewelry
on Jan. 23.
The victim told police he left
his home between W. 12th and 86th
streets for work at some point after
7:45 am, and returned later to fi nd
his cash and jewelry gone.
The criminal broke in through a
bedroom window and took two gold
bracelets, a watch, two diamond
earrings, and about $1,100, according
to the police report.
Afternoon terror
A baddie threatened an employee
at an Avenue S bodega with a gun
and stole $100 on Jan. 23.
The incident occurred at W.
Ninth Street just before 2 pm, when
the perp approached the woman behind
the counter and demanded the
cash, police said, adding that he fl ed
on his bike towards Avenue T.
Best-dressed thief
A crook stole clothing from an
86th Street store on Jan. 25.
The theft occurred from the store
at Bay 19th Street just before 7:30
pm, according to the report, which
added that an employee tried to
block the door to prevent the woman
from leaving, but the lout shoved
her out of the way and fl ed on New
Utrecht Avenue and then down 85th
Street towards Bay 16th Street.
