Vehicle thief
A baddie burglarized a car that
was parked on E. 68th Street sometime
between April 29 and 30.
The perp took several electronic
devices from the unlocked car
parked between Avenues L and M,
at some point between 10 p.m. April
29 and 2:30 p.m. the following day,
cops said.
Laundered
A purse snatcher stole a woman’s
wallet from a Glenwood Road laundromat
on May 6.
The woman was doing laundry
in the business near E. 56th Street
at around 4:10 p.m. when she left
the wallet in a pocket of her child’s
stroller and the thief grabbed it and
fl ed, according to police.
Wallet woes
A sneak thief stole a wallet from
an unlocked car on E. 41st Street on
May 5.
The baddie snuck into the car,
which was parked between Kings
Highway and Flatlands Avenue,
sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:30
p.m., and stole the wallet from the
glove compartment, cops said.
Bank fraud
A scammer used an E. 64th Street
woman’s stolen credit card to make
$1,188 worth of charges between
April 14 and April 18.
The woman, who lives between
Strickland Avenue and Mayfair
Drive North, discovered she was
missing the card when her bank
texted her at 6 p.m. on April 18. The
perp had used the card at various
locations around the city, according
to cops.
Checked out
A fraud stole a blank check and
cashed it at a Flatbush Avenue store
on May 3.
The perp stole the check from
the victim’s place of business, and
falsely made the check out to an unknown
bank account for $3,500. The
baddie then cashed the fake check
at a check cashing establishment
between E. 36th and E. 37th streets,
according to police.
Shady
A thief stole several pairs of sunglasses
from an Avenue U department
store on May 10.
The perp is seen on video grabbing
the sunglasses at around 8:15
p.m., before fl eeing the store, between
Flatbush Avenue and E. 55th
Street, without paying, cops said.

Trained brute
A man assaulted a female train
conductor at Stillwell Avenue station
on May 6.
The scoundrel approached the
victim as she was exiting the train
at the last stop, near Stillwell and
Mermaid avenues, before punching
her in the face and running off at
around 1:40 p.m., cops said.
Paramedics took the 42-year-old
victim to NYU Langone Hospital for
treatment, according to authorities.
Pizza robber
Cops cuffed a man who they say
tried to rob a Surf Avenue restaurant
on May 6.
The suspect entered the pizza
parlor, between Stillwell Avenue
and W. 12th Street, at around 8 p.m.,
before hitting the cashier repeatedly
and attempting to gain access
to the cash register, cops said.
Police tracked down the man and
arrested him later that day, according
to authorities.
F train bandit
A lout brutally assaulted and
robbed a man on an F train at Neptune
Avenue station on May 6.
The victim was on the train,
which was pulling into the station
near W. Sixth Street, at around 7
p.m., when the perp began pushing
the victim in the face, and threatening
him with a knife, police reported.
The baddie then stole a pair of
headphones and a cellphone before
exiting the train and fl eeing, cops
said.
Wallet thieves
Three muggers stole a wallet
from a man on Surf Avenue on May
6.
The three baddies approached
the man in the lobby of an apartment
building between W. 33rd and
W. 35th streets at around 11:15 a.m
when one of them began arguing
with the victim, before punching
him in the face, said police.
Another baddie displayed a
knife, while the third reached into
the victim’s pocket and stole the
wallet, before the muggers made off
in an unknown direction, according
to cops.

Brighton baddie
A home invader broke into a
Brighton 10th Court home and stole
$2,800 worth of items on May 11.
The perp smashed the fi rst-fl oor
window of the home between Coney
Island Avenue and Brighton
10th Street and proceeded to steal
money and jewelry, before fl eeing at
around 4 p.m., cops said.
FBI frauds
Scammers swindled $5,000 from
a Neptune Avenue man on May 9.
The victim, who lives between
W. 35th and W. 36th streets, told police
he received a call from a person
claiming to be from the FBI,
demanding money to settle outstanding
claims on the victim’s social
security account. He sent the
money to the perp, in the form of
gift cards, according to police.

Jewel heist
A burglar broke into an E. Fourth
Street home on May 12 and stole an
estimated $85,000 worth of jewels.
The perp broke into a bedroom
window in the house between Angela
Drive and Avenue W sometime
between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., before
fl eeing with several pieces of expensive
diamond and gold jewelry, cops
said.
Avenue X marauders
Three miscreants assaulted and
robbed a man on Avenue X on May
7.
The victim was near Coyle Street
shortly after 9 p.m. when the three
baddies got out of a parked car and
approached him. One of the perps
grabbed the victim, while another
punched him in the face.
The third baddie reached into
the victim’s pocket and stole a wallet
and a cellphone, before all three
perps took off, cops said.

Metal head
A brute hit a man in the head
with an unknown metal object,
causing a laceration and bleeding,
and then stole $100 from his pocket
on May 9.
The incident occurred at the station
at 86th Street at around 3:10
a.m., according to the report, which
added that the lout fl ed down 86th
Street and that emergency medical
personnel transported the victim to
Coney Island Hospital.
Cash grab
A punk stole $4,000 from a man’s
jacket in his 18th Avenue bedroom
at some point between May 5 and
10.
The man, who lives between
70th and 71st streets, realized the
money was missing at around 9 p.m.
on May 10, according to the report,
which added that there were no
signs of forced entry.
Free ride
A thief stole a gray 2015 Nissan
Sentra parked on W. Fifth Street at
some point between May 6 and 10,
police said.
The theft occurred from the parking
spot between 65th Street and Avenue
O at some point after 11:15 a.m.
on May 6, according to authorities.
Pocket swipe
A crook stole a woman’s keys and
wallet, with $100 inside, from her
jacket pocket at an Avenue T school
on May 6, and charged more than
$200 to her credit and debit cards.
The incident occurred at the
school between Lake and Van Sicklen
streets at some point after 8:30
a.m., police said, adding that the
woman realized the money and
goods were missing at the end of the

Smash bro
Cops are hunting for the vandal
who smashed a guy’s car window on
56th Street on May 4.
The victim told police he left his
car parked between Seventh and
Eighth avenues at 7 a.m., and returned
that evening to fi nd his driver
side window smashed.
Mr. Knife Guy
A knife-wielding crook robbed a
teenager at the 25th Street subway
station on May 5.
The victim, 16, told police the
thief pulled the knife on him inside
a Manhattan-bound R train at 11:45
a.m.
“You know the drill,” the bandit
growled.
The kid forked over his iPhone 7,
Bose headphones, and student MetroCard,
and the baddie fl ed into the
station, according to police.
