his ill-gotten cash on foot.
Licensed to steal
A thief nabbed license plates off
a man’s 2000 Lexus LX470 he parked
on Sixth Avenue on May 15.
The victim told police he parked
his 19-year-old four-door near Park
Place at 10:30 a.m., returning shortly
to fi nd both plates stolen.
Blending in
Police cuffed a 48-year-old man
accused of looting merchandise at a
Flatbush Avenue department store
on May 10, taking luggage and a
Ninja blender.
An employee told police he spotted
the suspect attempting to fl ee
past the register at the store near Atlantic
Avenue with the stolen goods
at 4:02 p.m., and New York’s Finest
were called in to arrest the man on
a misdemeanor larceny charge.
Final destination
Two louts sucker-punched a man
on Sixth Avenue on May 4.
The victim told police he was exiting
a cab near Union Street at 12:30
a.m. when the goons waltzed up and
socked him in the face.
Bike bandit
A thief stole two pricey bikes
that were locked up on Ninth Street
on May 11.
The victim told police he chained
his two Trek bikes up between Fifth
and Sixth avenues at 1 p.m., and returned
about an hour later to fi nd
his rides stolen.

Cell of a guy
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
beating and robbing a woman
on 21st Street on May 14, taking her
phone.
The victim told police she was
arguing with the suspect between
Fourth and Fifth avenues at 10:55
pm when the man grabbed the
phone from her hand and started
walking away.
When the woman attempted to
reclaim her cell, the guy slapped
her in the face and then shoved her
to the ground, according to police.
A man witnessed the theft from
his nearby home and called police,
who showed up to cuff the man on a
felony robbery charge, cops said.
Driver duped
A brazen thief looted the cab of a
box truck parked on Fourth Avenue
while the driver rooted around in
the back on May 20.
The victim told police he was in
the back of his box truck parked between
Third and Fourth avenues
at 8 am, only to discover upon returning
to the driver’s seat about 15
minutes later that some crook had
nabbed his speakers, phone charger,
and wallet.
Tough luck
A burglar looted $700 from the
register of a 25th Street gym on May
18.
The store’s owner told police that
he received a cellphone notifi cation
that the alarm at his fi tness center
between Fourth and Fifth avenues
had been tripped at 3:25 pm, and he
rushed back to fi nd that a register
there had been ransacked.

Troublesome trio
Three bandits robbed a delivery
man on Washington Avenue on May
13.
The malcontents walked up to
the victim while he was making a
delivery between Gates and Greene
avenues at 9:30 p.m. and shoved him
to the ground, a cutting his fi nger,
while the other two fl ed with his
electric bike, said cops.
Car robbers
Two rogues held a man up at S.
Oxford Street on May 17.
The victim told police he was in
his car near Hanson Place at 3:15
a.m. when the two ne’er-do-wells
approached him and demanded he
hand over his money.
He handed over $53, but the brute
put his arm around his head, and the
victim said he felt what could have
been a gun pressed to his head. The
other nogoodnik fl eeced his pockets
and bagged his cellphone and keys,
according to police.
Quick swipe
A delinquent youth mugged a
teen at a Fulton Street subway station
on May 17.
The 16-year-old victim was swiping
his MetroCard at the station
near S. Portland Avenue at 4:30 p.m.
when the scoffl aw approached him
and and said, “let me see your wallet,
I have a knife,” though he did
not display a knife, said police.
The youngster handed over $3
from his wallet and the rapscallion
demanded his phone, which he took
and then fl ed on foot out of the station,
according to the authorities.
Boozy burglar
A burglar fi lched a Fulton Street
restaurant on May 13.
The lout used a bolt cutter to
snap the deadbolt lock on the side
door of the eatery near St. James
Place at around 3:40 a.m., and then
left without going inside, according
to police.
The lawbreaker then came back
about an hour later, lifting the gates
to get into the building, where he
bagged $300, the lock, and a $20 bottle
of booze, cops said.
What a tool!
A man stole tools from another
man’s work truck at Hanson Place
on May 14.
The man was returned to his
truck parked near S. Elliott Place
at 8:30 p.m. when he saw the lock on
it was broken, and caught a glimpse
of the louse making a run for it, according
to police.
He then opened his truck and
saw that several drills and their batteries
were stolen, authorities said.
Frightened fi lcher
A man scared off a burglar from
his Lefferts Place house on May 19.
The guy told cops he was in the
living room of his home near Classon
Avenue at 1:30 a.m. when the
chancer lifted his window screen to
open the window.
The guy went out to confront the
scoundrel, but he made a run for it,
cops said.
What’s up, doc?
A thief robbed a doctor’s locker
at a DeKalb Avenue hospital sometime
overnight on May 13.
The victim told cops she left her
white coat, stethoscope, and other
medical devices in her locker at the
medical center near Ashland Place
at around 4:50 p.m., and when she
returned the next day at 9:40 a.m.,
she saw that her stuff was missing,
without any damage to the locker or
the lock.
Bad date
A scammer robbed a man after
a meet up on Vanderbilt Avenue on
the night of May 16.
The victim told cops he met the
scoffl aw at a DeKalb Avenue bar
and took her back to his home near
Lafayette Avenue at 10:30 p.m.
He at one point gave her the password
to his phone and fell asleep, police
said.
When he woke up, he noticed the
scoundrel made three transactions
on Venmo worth almost $2,000, he
told cops.

Knocked out
A dirtbag knocked a woman unconscious
and robbed her on the
train at Schermerhorn Street on
May 11.
The victim told cops she was taking
the Queens-bound A train, and
that the bruiser hit her in the back
of the head, knocking her unconscious
just after her train left the
Jay Street-MetroTech station Downtown
at 1 a.m.
When she regained consciousness
at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station
at 2 a.m., she saw that someone
had taken her bag — along with her
cellphone, glasses, and work identifi
cation, according to cops.
Bridge hold up
A reprobate robbed a man at
gunpoint on the Manhattan Bridge
on May 13.
The victim told police he was cycling
across the river on the bike
lane side of the bridge towards
Dumbo at 1:30 p.m. when the criminal
approached him and demanded
he give up his bike and cellphone.
He also told the victim to unlock
his phone before he fl ed the scene towards
Brooklyn, cops said.
Cellphone robbery
Police arrested a teen for allegedly
violently robbing a man at
MetroTech Center on May 16.
The victim told cops he was between
Jay and Duffi eld streets at
2:10 p.m. when the 16-year-old suspect
tried to take his cellphone, and
punched him several times, before a
police offi cer intervened.
You in a gang?
Goons assaulted and robbed a
teen on Bond Street on May 16.
The brutes walked up to the
16-year-old victim near Fulton
Street at 5 p.m. and asked him if
he was a member of a gang, cops
reported. When he replied that he
wasn’t, they started to assault him,
and took $200 from his wallet, according
