Open to everyone over the age of fi ve, Fashion Week Brooklyn was seeking to create awareness for the event’s Opening Ceremony to be held at Kings Plaza on Sunday, May 1, and fi nd “talent and staff” to work its runway shows. “Kings Plaza is proud to host the opening ceremony of Brooklyn’s premier fashion event here at Brooklyn’s premier the community to experience this incredible event dedicated to celebrating designers from all over the world.” The week consists of shows that will take place from May 2 of socially conscious, infl uential, fashion-forward men and women,” according to Kings Plaza.
