64 JANUARY 13 - JANUARY 19, 2017 BROOKLYN MEDIA GROUP A glittering crowd gathered in Brooklyn Judge Sylvia Ash’s Sip & Chat Cocktail Party marked its 10th anniversary at a bash on Friday, January 6, held at the judge’s Brooklyn residence. Notables from across the borough and around the city, including Mayor Bill de Blasio, attended the event, co-hosted by Carmen Charles and Beryl Major, that the hosts dubbed “The Final Chapter,” as it was “the last and most memorable Sip and Chat Cocktail Reception” held by the three.
