Late-night robbery
A pair of perps threatened an
18th Avenue bodega employee with
a gun and stole $400 from the store
on Jan. 6, police said.
The incident occurred at the bodega
at 66th Street around 10:30
pm, according to the report, which
added that one of the men told the
employee, “Give me the money or I
will shoot you” upon entering the
grocery store.
The men fl ed on 66th Street towards
19th Avenue, police added.
Blinged out
Police arrested a pair of teens
who allegedly stole jewelry from
a 19th Avenue apartment at some
point between Jan. 4 and 8.
The alleged theft occurred at
the home between 86th Street and
Benson Avenue at some point after
9 pm on Jan. 4, when the homeowner
invited the girls in, according
to the report. The resident later
noticed that her jewelry chest had
been broken into and that jewelry
was missing, according to the report.
Quiet break-in
A lout broke into an 85th Street
home and stole jewelry on Jan. 8.
The man told police he left the
home between 21st Avenue and Bay
Parkway at 9:45 am, and returned
at 2:50 pm to fi nd his front door left
open, his things scattered around
his home, and jewelry missing from
his bedroom, according to police,
who added that there were no signs
of forced entry.
Teen fi ght
Police arrested a trio of teen girls
who they said punched a 15-year-old
boy in the face on Cropsey Avenue
on Jan. 8 after he refused to give
them $5.
Police said the victim was near
Bay 14th Street around 6:50 pm when
the girls approached him and asked
for the cash. When he refused, the
girls allegedly pushed and punched
him, cutting his nose, according to
the report.
Windows smashed
A crook broke the window of a
man’s car parked on Bath Avenue
and stole electronics and credit
and debit cards from inside at some
point between Jan. 8 and 9.
The incident occurred at the
parking spot between Bay 16th and
Bay 17th streets at some point after
6:15 pm on Jan. 8, police said.
Looted
A baddie broke the window of a
woman’s car parked on New Utrecht
Avenue and stole $600 and her cellphone
from inside at some point between
Jan. 8 and 9.
The incident occurred at the
parking spot between 65th and 66th
streets at some point after 10 pm on
Jan. 8, according to the report.
Almost too easy
A thief stole a man’s unlocked
white 2012 Nissan Altima from its
63rd Street parking spot on Jan. 10.
The man told police he left his
car running with the keys in the ignition
and the doors unlocked near
24th Avenue around 6:15 am, while
he went inside a nearby home to
pick up his children.
Bad day out
A baddie stole a woman’s purse
with $2,000 and her identifi cation
cards inside while she was shopping
at an 86th Street store on Jan. 10.
The theft occurred at the store at
Bay 19th Street just before 1:20 pm,
police said, adding that the thief fl ed
in an unknown direction.
Toxic trio
Offi cers arrested three men who
allegedly threatened a man with
physical force before demanding he
hand over his money and cellphone
on 18th Avenue on Jan. 10.
The victim was near 86th Street
at around 4:45 pm, when the men
confronted him, police said, adding
that the suspects did not actually
take anything.

Long-distance call
A thief ran off with a man’s cellphone
he “borrowed” at a Fifth Avenue
burger joint on Jan. 11.
The victim told police he lent
the crook his phone to make a call
inside the fast food restaurant between
52nd and 53rd streets at 9 pm,
but claims the fi end later refused to
hand it back, and ran off with it after
concluding his chat.
When police arrived, they found
the victim drunk and unable to provide
a description of the thief, cops
said.
No arrests have been made in the
case, which has been closed, according
to police.
Expressway to jail
Cops busted a 20-year-old man

for allegedly driving drunk after he
was involved in a collision on the
Gowanus Expressway on Jan. 11.
The arresting offi cer claimed
the suspect reeked of booze and was
slurring his speech near the 38th
Street exit, where he and another
driver had collided at 2:15 am.
Police cuffed him at the scene,
charging him with a misdemeanor
drunk driving charge, cops said.
Low blow!
Police cuffed a 49-year-old woman
for allegedly kicking a 30-year-old
man in the crotch after he refused
to take out the garbage at their 39th
Street home on Jan. 7.
The victim told police the
woman, a relative, threatened with
him a knife, before punching him in
the face and kicking right where the
sun don’t shine at their apartment
between Fifth and Sixth avenues at
12:10 pm.
Cops arrested the woman that
day, charging her with misdemeanor
menacing, said police.

Home invasion
Two reprobates shot a man and
robbed him in his W. 25th Street
home on Jan. 6.
The victim told cops that the villains
approached him in his apartment
near Mermaid Avenue at 11:40
pm and one of them pulled out a gun
and shot him in the left upper arm.
They then stole marijuana and
cash from the victim and fl ed the
scene, police reported.
Paramedics rushed the man to
Lutheran Hospital, said cops.
Bag snatched
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
robbing a woman at knifepoint on
Brighton Fourth Street on Jan. 8.
The victim told authorities she
was walking near Brighton Fourth
Road just before 1:30 pm when the
suspect jumped out of a black car
and pointed a knife at her. He then
snatched her purse off her shoulder,
according to police.
The man then allegedly drove
off towards Neptune Avenue, cops
said.
Police cuffed the man two days
later at W. Eighth Street near Lake
Place at 4 pm, a spokesman for
the authorities said.
Rowdy juvenile
Police arrested a teen for allegedly
attacking faculty at an Ocean
Parkway school on Jan. 11.
The girl allegedly refused to give
the dean her identifi cation at the
school near Shore Parkway at 10
am, and when another person came
to assist the dean, the girl allegedly
grabbed that person’s hair and
punched her several times in the
face, causing swelling to her right
eye, cheek, and scalp, said police.
The student also allegedly kicked
another person in the right knee,
causing bruising, swelling, and discomfort
to her knee, cops said.
Paramedics rushed both victims
to Coney Island Hospital, said police.

Air-con buster
A baddie ransacked an Ocean
Avenue apartment on Jan. 9.
The intruder broke in to the
home near Avenue W sometime between
2:30 and 11 pm through the
back bedroom window by pushing
down the air conditioner and stole
four gold chains and $800, according
to cops.
He bolted
A burglar took tools and cash
from a building on Coyle Street on
Jan. 9.
The brigand broke into the building
by pushing in the side door near
Avenue U at 1:15 am and stole a crow
bar, bolt cutter, a jacket, and $300,
according to police.
The crook then fl ed with his
bounty towards Avenue V, cops
said.
Vandal scandal
A lout vandalized a woman’s
home on Bragg Street on Jan. 9.
The victim told cops she left her
house near Avenue X around 10 am
and when she returned at 3 pm, she
found her front door broken down
and that someone had written “get
the f--- out!” and “woman beater gtfo
of our hood!” on the walls.
Ran with the jewels
A villain looted a house on
Voorhies Avenue sometime between
Jan. 10 and 11.
Police said the victim left the
home near E. 29th Street at 7 pm,
and returned at 4:45 pm the next
day to fi nd some ne’er-do-well had
kicked in the basement door and
stolen jewelry worth some $12,000
before fl eeing the scene.
