MOSHOLU PRESERVATION TREE LIGHTING
Councilman Andy King, the Mosholu Preservation Corporation, the East 233rd Street and
White Plains Road Merchants Association hosted the third annual 12th Council District Holiday
Street Lighting celebration on Tuesday, December 4 at Williamsbridge Square, located
at the intersection of White Plains Road and Gun Hill Road, across from the entrance of the
IRT subway station.

WINNERS HONORED
Councilman Andy King presented awards to
the winners of the Chess in Schools’ Fernando
Cabrera Chess Challenge on Saturday, December
8 at M.S. 390. The tournament was
held in conjunction with a free CIS Teacher
Training Institute day-long workshop for
educators across the city.
