Cops seek men wanted in connection
to Gravesend cellphone store robbery
Cops are looking for two men who
allegedly stole five cellphones
and one tablet and threatened
an employee's life at a T-Mobile store
near West 13th Street and 86th Street
in Gravesend.
The men walked up to one of the
cellphone display cases at around
4:25 p.m. and began removing phones
after cutting off the security cables
that attached them to the case. When
a T-Mobile employee confronted them,
one of the men threatened the employee
with a sharp object and told him that
he would kill him.
The employee retreated to a back
room and called 911. The two men fled
down 86th Street, entering a silver
sport utility vehicle and speeding off
northbound toward Avenue T.
The first man is black, 20 to 25 years
old and was last seen wearing a gray
knit cap, a black hooded sweater and a
dark-colored jacket and pants. The second
man is black, 20 to 25 years old and
was last seen wearing a dark-colored
hooded sweater, a dark-colored jacket,
gray sweatpants and blue sneakers.

Cops seek man for attempting
to rape 59-year-old woman in
Bensonhurst apartment

Cops are searching for a suspect
they say attempted to
rape a woman in the Bensonhurst
area.
Authorities say that on Saturday,
February 17 at around 1:20 p.m., the
suspect followed a 59-year-old woman
inside an apartment building near
17th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway.
As she was walking in her apartment,
the man allegedly pushed his way
inside and exposed himself.
The man then forced the woman
onto her couch and attempted to
rape her. When the woman resisted,
the man slapped her several times
in the face. The woman fought
off the suspect and ran out of the
apartment. The perp then followed
her into the hallway whereupon the
woman successfully got back inside
her apartment and locked the door.
The suspect fled southbound on
17th Avenue.
The woman was treated at the
scene by EMS.
The suspect is described as a light
skinned man in his 20s, 5’7” to 6’2”.
He was last seen wearing a light
