Make your vote count in the November general election
With only a few weeks remaining
until the November
general elections,
it’s time for LeFrak City residents to
once again make their voices heard.
The November 6th election will
be the fi rst general election since the
residents of LeFrak City successfully
rallied to keep their polling sites on
the property aft er the Board of Elections
attempted to relocate them.
Voters will be able to make the biggest
diff erence in the statewide elections,
where Governor Andrew Cuomo
will be challenged by Republican
candidate Marcus Molinaro, Libertarian
candidate Larry Sharpe, independent
candidate Stephanie Miner
and Green Party candidate Howie
Hawkins.
Th ere are also plenty of choices for
New York Attorney General, including
Democrat and current Public
Advocate Letitia James, Republican
candidate Keith Wofford, Libertarian
candidate Christopher B. Garvey,
Reform Party candidate Nancy Sliwa,
Independence Party candidate Vincent
Messina and Green Party candidate
Michael Sussman.
Incumbent New York Comptroller
Th omas DiNapoli will be challenged
by Republican candidate Jonathan
Trichter, Libertarian candidate Cruger
Gallaudet and Green Party candidate
Mark Dunlea. Candidates for
Lieutenant Governor of New York
include incumbent Democrat Kathy
Hochul, Republican Julie Killian, Libertarian
Andrew Hollister, independent
candidate Michael Volpe and
Green Party candidate Jia Lee.
As for New York’s representatives
in Congress, incumbent Senator
Kirsten Gillibrand will be challenged
by Republican candidate Chele Farley,
and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
will face off against Republican candidate

Anthony Pappas for a seat in
the House of Representatives. Jessica
Ramos will likely run unopposed for
Senate District 13. In addition, Assemblyman
Jeff rion Aubry will run
unopposed yet again for the 35th Assembly
District aft er serving in the
position for the past 26 years.
