She was the wife of the late Gregory Czuchlewski, loving mother of Stephen, Paul and Gregory, mother-in-law of Stefani, Ellen and Agnes, cherished grandmother of Richard, David and Nora and great-grandmother of Talia, Abigail, Megan, Ryan and Andrew. She was a devoted and active member of Blessed Virgin Mary Help of Christians Parish, Woodside. A Mass of Christian Burial will be off ered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. +++ EDITH A. GIUSTINIANI died on Friday, June 9, at the age of 90. She was the sister of the late Flavia, Florence, Josephine and Francis and a loving aunt and great-aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also a dear friend to many and a devoted caretaker of many feline friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered on Monday, June 12, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. +++ CHRISTIAN MULLER of Glendale died on Thursday, June 8, at the age of 95. Born in Brooklyn, he was the husband of the late Margaret Muller, loving father of Christina and sonin law Robert. He is also survived by his sister Margaret and several nieces and nephews. A veteran of World War II, Christian served in the Mediterranean Theater. He was part of General Patton’s Second Corps in Tunisia and with General Patton’s Seventh Army in Sicily. He received several decorations including the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars, six Combat Stars, and the Cróix de Guerre Avec Palme from the French government. Along with his late wife, Margaret, he owned a knitting mill in Ridgewood for 30 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Garity Post 562 and served two terms at post commander. Services will be off ered at graveside at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Hess Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village. +++ MENSAR FREIJEIRO died on Wednesday, June 7, at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Arturo and loving mother of Juan Chopurian, Terbanda Chopurian, Gabriel Freijeiro and Marylen Montanes. She was a cherished grandmother, sister and friend to many. A private cremation was held on Thursday, June 8, at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, followed by memorial services on Friday, June 9, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72- 27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. +++ PAULINE E.
