The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens will be

9th to December 8th, 2017 until 2pm for meal catering services at the Boys &
Girls Club of Metro Queens site. Qualified vendors must be able to deliver:

Queens man shot dead
close to his home in
Springfi eld Gardens
A Springfi eld Gardens man was found
dead aft er being shot in his neighborhood
on Saturday, Nov. 4, police said.
Authorities have identifi ed the victim
as Chaz Morrison of 182nd Street; he
was discovered with gunshot wounds to
his torso at 146th Terrace near Guy R.
Brewer Boulevard at about 1:11 a.m. on
Nov. 4, according to police.
Th e New York Daily News reported that
Morrison engaged in a conversation with
his unidentifi ed attacker before being shot
and managed to exit the car he was sitting
in before collapsing on the sidewalk.
Offi cers from the 105th Precinct,
in responding to a 911 call about the
shooting, discovered Morrison unconscious
and unresponsive on the sidewalk,
police said. EMS transported the victim
to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.
Police did not provide a description of
the suspect. No arrests have been made,
and the investigation is ongoing.
Cops looking for pair who stole
their victims’ phones in two
F train stations in Jamaica
Police are looking for a duo responsible
for a series of recent cellphone snatchings
at two Jamaica subway stations.
According to police, at 9:15 a.m. on Sept.
27, a 27-year-old man was standing inside
of the Sutphin Boulevard F train station
when an unknown man grabbed his cellphone
and ran through the station. As the
victim chased aft er the suspect who took
his phone, a second unknown man ran up
to him and punched him in the face.
One month later, at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 30,
a 23-year-old woman was standing in the
Parsons Boulevard F train station when an
unknown man stole her phone from her
hand. Aft er taking the phone, authorities
said, the suspect fl ed the station.
Law enforcement sources said the third
incident occurred at 2:05 p.m. on Nov.
2 at the Sutphin Boulevard station. A
20-year-old female was at the location
when an unknown man stole her phone
out of her hand and then fl ed the station.
Th e fi rst suspect is described as a lightskinned
male with glasses and a dark-colored
backpack. He was last seen wearing
a blue and white hooded sweater,
black and white sweatpants and dark-colored
sneakers. Th e second perpetrator is
described as a light-skinned male with
glasses and a multi-colored backpack. He
was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket,
blue jeans and orange sneakers.

Missing young woman last
seen at Rego Park hotel may
be a sex traffi cking victim: cops
A missing 19-year-old woman from
Pennsylvania last seen at a Rego Park hotel
a number of weeks ago may be a sex traffi
cking victim, police sources said on Nov. 7.
Family members reported Corinna
Slusser, 19, missing several weeks ago;
police determined that her last known
whereabouts were on Sept. 20 at the
Haven Motel located at 68-05 Woodhaven
Blvd. in Rego Park.
Th ough the motel is located in the 112th
Precinct’s confi nes, the NYPD released a
missing person’s report on Slusser from
the 32nd Precinct. A police spokesperson
could not explain why the report was listed
from the Bronx-based command.
Law enforcement sources stated that the
NYPD Vice Enforcement Squad is investigating
Slusser’s disappearance as a possible
sex traffi cking case. Police noted that
she was the reported victim of an assault
that occurred in the 48th Precinct’s confi
nes in the Bronx, about a month before
her disappearance.
Th e New York Post reported that she
recently fi led a complaint against a man
who is also an alleged pimp. A number of
her friends on social media posted pleas
for help in fi nding her, according to the
New York Daily News.
Police described Slusser as a white
female with blond hair and blue eyes
standing between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 7
inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She
also has a large black tattoo in the shape of
a fl ower in the middle of her chest.

Armed suspect ties up man in
his Bayside home, then steals
safe & designer bag: police
Police are looking for a perpetrator
who gave a Bayside man a rude awakening
in a home invasion on Th ursday,
Nov. 2, according to police.
On Nov. 2 at around 12:10 p.m., the
20-year-old victim was sleeping in his
home in the vicinity of 26th Avenue and
212th Street when an unknown male
entered his bedroom and displayed a
black handgun, authorities said. Th e
suspect then tied up the victim, stole a
safe, a Chanel bag and personal papers,
and fl ed the scene.
Officers from
the 111th Precinct
responded to the
scene. No injuries
were sustained in the
incident, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson
could not
confi rm whether or
not there were any
signs of forced entry.
The suspect is
described as an
Asian male, approximately
5 feet 7 inches.
He was last seen
wearing a green
jacket.
