According to police, the bandit walked into the Golden City Jewelers located at 159-23 Jamaica Ave. at 2:40 p.m. on March 17 and approached a 56-year-old male worker. Law enforcement sources said the suspect told the worker that he had an item on layaway. When the clerk went to the back of the store to fi nd the item, police noted, the bandit reached over the counter and removed six gold bracelets from the display case. He then fl ed the scene westbound along Jamaica Avenue. Police described the jewelry thief as a black man believed to be 20 years of age, standing 5 foot 8 inches tall who was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, black pants and black-and-white sneakers while carrying a light-colored backpack. It was reported to the 107th Precinct that the three victims, each 18 years old, boarded the Q76 bus at the intersection of Francis Lewis Boulevard and Horace Harding Expressway at approximately 3 p.m. on unspecifi ed dates in October, November and December of last year. Aft er boarding the bus, the victims were grabbed on their buttocks by the unidentifi ed male, who is described as being between 25 to 35 years old and wearing a red winter coat. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 109th Precinct College Point, Flushing, Whitestone Gunmen hit two Flushing businesses in four hours Police have released video and images of gunmen responsible for robbing a pair of businesses in Flushing in a span of about four hours on Saturday morning. Law enforcement sources said the crooks fi rst hit the Green Garden Spa at 42-32 College Point Blvd, near Maple Avenue, at 7:18 a.m. on March 25. Th e perpetrators walked into the location, displayed a fi rearm and removed $6,000 in cash. Th ey were last seen entering a yellow Toyota Prius cab that fl ed southbound on College Point Boulevard. Nearly four hours later, authorities said, the bandits paid a visit to the SUIY Internet Cafe located at 35-16 Farrington St., between 35th Avenue and Northern Boulevard, at 11 a.m. on Saturday. As in the fi rst instance, the suspects displayed fi rearms, and then proceeded to remove $700 in cash. Th ey were observed fl eeing the scene southbound in a tan Toyota minivan. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 114th Precinct Astoria & Long Island City Robbers follow senior & attack him in Astoria Police are looking for two men who robbed a senior citizen in Astoria at knifepoint on March 25. According to police, the two suspects entered an apartment building in the vicinity of 21st Street and 36th Avenue at about 6:42 p.m. Th ey followed the 83-year-old victim into an elevator and one suspect displayed a knife and said, “Don’t make a noise” while the second suspect proceeded to rob him. Th e duo stole $20 and a cellphone and fl ed to an unknown location. Th ere were no reported injuries. Th e fi rst suspect is described as a black male who was last seen wearing black sneakers, black jeans and a dark hooded shirt. Th e second suspect is described as a Hispanic male who was last seen wearing grey hooded jacket, skull cap, black backpack, black sneakers and blue jeans.
