Power Women in Business is a networking event that honors top Brooklyn women for their outstanding leadership and their contributions to the community. Group held an opening reception for their latest exhibition, Memories, in their gallery at Coney Island Hospital on Monday, January 30. Postponed by the storm the week before, the event still attracted a fair amount of attention. The exhibition runs until early April. The expanding group, which includes artists and performers, was invited by the Williamsburg Library to celebrate Black History Month with an exhibition that will be on display through February. The celebration in Williamsburg will also include a concert that, it is anticipated, will also be performed in the Coney Island Library. Dates are yet to be announced.
