TEEN GIRL ATTACKED AND ROBBED A 13-year-old girl was assaulted and robbed while walking at the northeast corner of Ridge Boulevard and 67th Street on Sunday August 28, at around 7:20 p.m. Cops say her 49-year-old father witnessed an unknown man come up from behind her, grabbed her phone and push her to the ground while she resisted, trying to hold onto the phone. The girl suffered cuts to her wrists. The perp fl ed with the phone in an unknown direction. VICTIM SMACKED WITH METAL PIPE A 23-year-old man was assaulted while walking near the southeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 86th Street on Saturday, August 27 at around 12:30 a.m. The victim told police that two men, 29 and 30 years old, approached and struck him with a metal pipe, causing bruises to the right side of his face. Police recovered the weapon and arrested two suspects on assault charges TWO OUT OF THREE A man was attacked by three people, a 31-year-old woman, a 51-yearold man and an unknown male, while walking on the northwest corner of Third Avenue and 91st Street on Friday, August 26 sometime between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. According to police reports, the victim was punched several times in the face and body while one of the perps stole a cell phone from his pocket. The victim sustained bruises and cuts to the face and body and was transported to NYU Lutheran Medical Center for treatment. Two suspects were arrested by cops. The unknown male perp remains at large. 72nd Precinct The 72nd Precinct serves Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights, Windsor Terrace and South Park Slope. SUCKER PUNCH A 20-year-old woman was punched in the face twice when walking towards 23rd Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues on Tuesday, August 23 at around 9:30 p.m. A suspect, a 21-year-old man, was later arrested on assault charges. TWO AGAINST ONE A 27-year-old man was attacked by two men in their early 30s on Wednesday, August 24 at around 6 p.m. on the northeast corner of 44th Street and Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park. The victim was punched in the head and face, resulting in several cuts. Cops later arrested two suspects. SPECIAL DELIVERY A 67-year-old woman living on Ocean Parkway found herself the victim of credit card fraud after a crook broke into her mailbox on Wednesday, August 10 at around 7 p.m. and stole a credit card. Cops say the perp opened an account in the victim’s name and made several purchases. 62nd Precinct The 62nd Precinct serves Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend. SLICE AND A SWING After leaving an 18th Avenue pizzeria at around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, a 39-year-old man was assaulted by a stranger, 42, with a baseball bat. According to police, the 42-year-old male perp approached the victim and hit him in the left arm and left leg with the bat. The 39-yearold received medical attention at the scene and the assailant was apprehended by police. AMBUSHED A 51-year-old Hispanic man was assaulted and robbed by several perps on Thursday, August 25 at around 2 a.m. According to police, the 51-year-old was walking home along New Utrecht Avenue when a group of men ambushed him and pushed him to the ground. The perps proceeded to kick the man while he was on the ground and fl ed with $130 of the man’s money and his ID. VIOLENT MORNING A 32-year-old woman told police that on Saturday, August 27, while she was walking to work at around 4:40 a.m., an unknown man of Middle Eastern descent approached her, punched her in the face and stole her purse near 20th and Benson Avenues. According to police, at the time of the attack, the man was wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo on it, a black t-shirt and blue denim shorts, and was approximately 5’7” tall. BAD FOOD Cops report that the poisoning of animals appears to be continuing in Bay Ridge as a 52-year-old female claims an unknown perp placed rat poison onto a food container near the southeast corner of Ridge Boulevard and 92nd Street on Thursday, December 10. She stated that she did not know the perp. NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT Twenty-seven boxes of allergy relief medicine, teeth white strips and batteries were swiped from a pharmacy near 93rd Street and Third Avenue on Sunday, December 6 at approximately 9:52 p.m. According to cops, an unknown male and female are the suspects in the incident. CAR PROPERTY STOLEN A 24-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man discovered that approximately $835 worth of property had been stolen from their Jeep, which was parked near the southwest corner of Cropsey Avenue and Bay 8th Street when they returned to the vehicle at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 2. When the victim recovered the phone, the perp said, “Give me the phone or you’re going to die.” Police arrived and apprehended the perp, who resisted arrest.
