Happy Dragon in LeFrak City continues
to delight and educate young minds

Happy Dragon Children
Learning Center has served
parents and their young
children in the Lefrak City community
for over a decade.
Founded in 1996 and opening
their Lefrak City location in 2005,
the day care center provides child
care services for children 2-5 years
old, and aft er school and summer
school services from 5-12 years old.
Contracted by both the Department
of Education and the Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene,
Happy Dragon provides Universal
Pre-K programs for all 4-year-olds
and Early Intervention program
for children 0-3 with any function
developing delay, helping plenty
of children and families with their
struggles.
“Happy Dragon Children Learning
Center has a very strong professional
background and the experience
to provide the age appropriate
services the past years,” said Jane
Yao, Executive Director of Happy
Dragon. “Th is, in turn, gives us a
very successfully and good reputation
in the community and NYC.”
Th e center is also multi-lingual,
speaking English, Spanish, Russian,
Hindi, Chinese, Filipino, Polish
and more.
Happy Dragon makes a point to
update and upgrade the facility and
equipment to improve the quality of
services. Most recently, they just replaced

the two 5 Ton HVAC units in
the facility to help give the children
and staff a better environment for
the classrooms and offi ce.
Happy Dragon’s philosophy is: Children
always are their fi rst priority.
“We provide our children a safe,
warm and welcome learning center
with many free programs for the
family,” said Ms. Yao. “Even the private
child care services tuition fees
are very reasonable.”
