WEST COAST ROAD TRIPS YOUR GUIDE SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA Last, but certainly not least, is San Francisco. Located in Northern California, the city sits on the tip of a peninsula surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay is home to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Encapsulating a little bit of everything for everyone, this city is a great end cap to any road trip. SANTA CRUZ, CALIFORNIA Santa Cruz also boasts some great beaches and activities, but, while you’re there, make sure to block out some time for Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. The park’s ancient, giant redwoods and sunny sandhill ridges inspire reflection and serenity. PAGE, ARIZONA Page, Arizona is the perfect place for the next page in your road trip itinerary. With two of the most beautiful natural rock structures in America (at least in my opinion), Page offers visitors a chance to climb, hike, and gaze at some of the most breathtaking sites in the country including Antelope Canyon – land formed over hundreds of years of water running through sandstone – and Horseshoe Bend – one of the most photographed areas on the Colorado River, located just north of Grand Canyon. Photo by Laura Maguire MOAB, UTAH Your next stop, a breathtaking city surrounded by mountains, should be Moab, Utah. With lots to see and acres of ground to cover, make sure comfortable shoes are on your packing list. Arches National Park is a must when stopping through Moab. The park has over 2,000 natural stone arches, hundreds of soaring pinnacles and giant balanced rocks. This red rock paradise will astound you with its formations, revive you with its trails, and move you with its sunsets. Photo by Laura Maguire Photo by Laura Maguire
