THIRD AVE BID DISCUSSES CRIME REDUCTION
The Third Avenue Business Improvement District joined NYPD Police Commissioner James
O’Neill, 40th Precinct, Councilwoman Diana Ayala, District Attorney Darcel Clark’s Offi ce,
community advocates and NYCHA leaders to address disparities in the 40th Precinct and
a community-based, solution-oriented approach toward tackling challenges such as the
opioid crisis, resource equity, gang violence and youth development.
Community and law enforcement leaders discussed ways to improve community safety.
