Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile
Formerly known as the “High School Musical” star who every teenage
girl had a crush on, Zac Efron has come a long way in his acting career as
he now takes on the role of infamous serial killer Ted Bundy in “Extremely
Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.” Director Joe Berlinger, who also
directed the documentary “Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy
Tapes” streaming on Netfl ix, follows it up with a fi lm that focuses on the

relationship between Bundy and his girlfriend Liz Kloepfer (Lily Collins).
The killer’s violent side is left mostly off screen while the fi lm explores
how Bundy grew so attached to Kloepfer without making her another one
of his victims. “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” will air on
May 2 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and it hits select
theaters and Netfl ix later this year.
Dreamland
Set in the Dust Bowl Era in Texas, “Dreamland”
tells the story of a young man living on a farm who
decides to pursue a bank robber with a $20,000
bounty on her head as a way to make ends meet.
Starring Academy-Award-nominee Margot Robbie,
who also produces the fi lm, the plot centers on
the relationship between the bank robber and the
farmer played by Finn Cole who begins lusting over
his target. As the farmer falls head over heels, the
bank robber's subtle manipulation becomes more
and more clear. Described as a “tense, entertaining
fi lm” by Tribeca Film Festival Programmer Brian
Gordon, “Dreamland” will debut at the Borough of
Manhattan Community College on April 28 and air
three more times during the festival.
