Bonnaroo
Bonnaroo has quickly climbed the ranks as one
of the most well-known festivals in the country,
and one of the few camping festivals of its scale.
The four-day extravaganza embodies the true
music festival culture and is known for its all-night
parties and anything-goes culture. The extensive
lineup of star performers includes the Grand Ole
Opry with yet-to-be-announced guests, Phish,
Childish Gambino, Post Malone, Cardi B, The
Lumineers, Hozier, Solange, and more. Head down
to Manchester, Tennessee from June 13 to 16 and
prepare for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Pitchfork
The Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago,
Illinois is another unique festival for the way
it seems to mirror its namesake publication’s
coverage of the music industry. It features
some of the most trending and up-andcoming
artists in music mixed in with some
of the legends across many genres. It also
tends to skip most of the bells and whistles
of some other festivals in
order to focus entirely
on the music, and
that makes it more
aff ordable than many
other festivals too.
Headline acts this year
include HAIM, the Isley Brothers, Pusha-T,
Earl Sweatshirt, Robyn, Belle & Sabastian,
Jeremih, and Mavis Staples among others,
from July 19 to 21.
Firefl y
Another camp-out festival set in the woods of
Dover, Delaware, Firefl y has also become known
for its true festival atmosphere and wide array of
performers. This year’s headliners, for example,
include Panic! At The Disco, Tyler, The Creator,
Zedd, Travis Scott, Kygo, Death Cab For Cutie,
Post Malone, Vampire Weekend and DJ Snake.
Of course, there are plenty of late-night parties
and events throughout the weekend that will
make festival goers short on sleep by the end of
it. The festivities will take place from June 21 to
23 as we offi cially ring in the summer.
